about “the harmony of rhythm”

This blog is dedicated to poetry written in an ‘old school’ rhythmic style as opposed to true ‘free verse’ or stream of consciousness material.

The idea behind “the harmony of rhythm” is that poetry should be as enjoyable to read as it is thoughtful or entertaining.

The categories created are designed as clues to the subject matter of poems, e.g. “blindfolded ladies” contains poetry inspired by concepts of justice and fairness, “true blue” contains poetry inspired by genuine feelings of love, etc…

Please be patient, as the blog is in its ‘infant’ stages, time is often in short supply, and the author is developing computer literacy.

And, of course, thank you for your visit,
